My Miracle Experience 🕊️

Every little prompting of the Holy Spirit can be connected to a bigger victory. 🕊️
A few nights ago, something happened to me that I have not stopped thinking about.
I was sleeping, and in my dream, I saw myself choking. Then I woke up, and to my shock, I was actually choking.
Something, which felt like reflux, had come up through my throat, nose, and mouth. My throat was burning, I could barely breathe, and for a moment, I genuinely thought, “Am I going to die?”
I was struggling to sit up and catch my breath.
Then I saw it.
My bottle of water. 💧
The interesting thing is that the day before, I had randomly told my husband, “Baby, I usually like drinking water from your bottle, but I think I want to have my own bottle. Can you get it for me? I will sterilise it and put water in it.”
And he did.
Normally, I would not even bother having a separate bottle beside me. But something in me just wanted that bottle.
At that moment, while I was struggling to breathe, that little decision became very important. I reached for the water, drank, and eventually recovered. 🙏🏾
And I kept thinking…
What if I had ignored that little prompting?
What if I had said, “It is not important. I can use his bottle later”?
We often think that when God is leading us, He will always give us some dramatic instruction.
Sometimes we expect the Red Sea to part.
Sometimes we expect a loud voice.
Sometimes we expect a sign that is impossible to miss.
But sometimes, it is simply:
“Take this.”
“Call this person.”
“Send that message.”
“Go there.”
“Do not go there.”
“Buy this.”
“Check on that person.”
“Start this.”
“Wait.”
“Speak.”
“Be quiet.”
And because the instruction looks so small, we dismiss it.
You do not always know what your obedience is preparing you for. ✨
That little thing God asks you to do today may be connected to something much bigger tomorrow.
Maybe that person you feel prompted to encourage needs the exact words you are carrying.
Maybe that phone call will open a door.
Maybe that decision will protect you from something you cannot see.
Maybe that “random” idea is the beginning of something that will change your life.
Maybe that delay is actually divine protection.
Maybe that small act of obedience is positioning you for a victory you have not even imagined yet.
We may not always understand the why behind God’s instructions.
Our job is not always to understand everything. Sometimes our job is simply to obey.
“But when He, the Spirit of truth, comes, He will guide you into all the truth.” 🕊️
John 16:13 (NIV)
Because God sees the bigger picture.
We see today.
He sees tomorrow.
We see the instruction.
He sees the outcome.
And sometimes, when we look back, we realise that what we thought was insignificant was actually part of the preparation.
So, pay attention to those little promptings.
Do not become so accustomed to your routine that you ignore the gentle nudges.
Do not dismiss something simply because it does not make sense immediately.
Pray about it. Test it against God’s Word. Use wisdom. And when you are convinced it is God leading you, obey.
Because you really never know what your obedience is connected to.
That bottle of water was just a bottle of water.
Until I needed it. 💧
Small in the moment. Significant in the bigger picture. 🙌🏾
And perhaps that is how many of God’s instructions are.
At the end of the day, we look back and realise:
God was already preparing the way.
And somehow, things worked together.
Things moved faster.
The right people showed up.
The right door opened.
The right decision was made.
The protection came.
The victory came. 🎉
Every little prompting can be connected to a bigger victory.
Pay attention. Pray. Obey. 🙏🏾
You may be standing in the middle of a testimony you have not recognised yet. ❤️
